Behavioural work

sessions are designed to build your confidence and create lasting, positive change in your dog’s behaviour

Dogs and puppies can develop behavioural issues at any age and for a variety of reasons — including trauma, fear, negative experiences, frustration, anxiety, and more.

As a qualified canine behaviourist, I take a holistic approach to understanding your dog’s needs. I consider the full picture: your dog’s history, diet, exercise routine, previous learning experiences, breed instincts, and much more.

Unlike general dog training, canine behaviourists have completed additional studies and qualifications in areas such as canine psychology, learning theory, nutrition, hormones, body language, aggression, fear, phobias, breed traits, dog laws, and more. All of this knowledge helps us better understand why a dog behaves the way they do — and how to help them move forward.

How it works

  • I design each 1-to-1 Behavioural Programme to suit the specific needs of both you and your dog.

  • Each session lasts 90 minutes and is followed up with a written report for you to refer back to.

  • Before we begin, I’ll send you a form to complete. This helps me gain a better understanding of your situation, your dog’s behaviour and how I can help.

  • Once that’s completed, we’ll pick a convenient date to get started with your first consultation.
